Gator Teams

For 2011/2012, San Clemente “Gators” Youth Rugby will be fielding teams for U8, U10, U12 and U14. Note that there are no upper weight restrictions for rugby, however there is a OLDER/LIGHTER POLICY.

NB: There are age restrictions, see below. Also, U8′s play touch rugby, all other ages play tackle rugby.

Under 8s Touch Rugby

Players must be born after September 1, 2003 (minimum grade kindergarten)

Under 10s – 12-aside full contact rugby

Players born between September 1, 2001 and August 31, 2003

Under 12s – 12-aside full contact rugby

Players born between September 1, 1999 and August 31, 2001

Under 14s – 15-aside full contact rugby

Players born between September 1, 1997 and August 31, 1999
